Melissa: It was great to see our profs, Ana Maria, and half our crew again. I was also gratified to find, after sitting in on a Spanish conversation class Summer Session II, that I could converse much better with Ana Maria for Spanish. Thanks for posting the pics.
Do you think the mescal will remain unopened until spring?

Gail it was great seeing everyone right.. too bad jewels,mila, alex, branden,gisille, and liz were missing.. no mezcal will not last till spring!! I HAD to open it this thurs. for a toast to going back to work .. a toast takes a lot its 1/2 way done. :(
but i'll have to stock up when i go back.. not sure how but i have to. LOL. I heard you speak w/ Ana Maria .. you sounded great. my spanish..well i am not as good as you. cant wait to return. still not looking good for the people in Mexico .

AWWWW! Great pic of all of us. I am glad we met up again, it seemed like we hadn't seen eachother in years. We must meet up more often.

About Me: New me, not the same one that started out in the begining of the summer. Oaxaca and what I saw here in SA changed me. I use to think I did a lot, volunteer for organizations, chair events. blablabla. But there is sooo much more to do! And i learned not to be afraid. Not that I was scared of things before. But not to be afraid to venture out and ask questions. Or to say NO! And to ask why something can't happen. To be in the middle of all that and not knowing what tomorrow held. Finding out who really loved you when you called home, who was waiting for your call.. maybe my last call, that woke me up to what i want for my life....New me ..braver, more aggressive, and more FOCUS than ever on a GOAL!
UPDATE: one goal completed since last updated: i graduating w/ my AA in PR!
2nd goal going to OLLU for my BS.
3rd goal: WE ARE GOING BACK TO OAXACA!!!
